Impeachment/25th Amendment NOW

I’m relieved that the President has agreed to a two-week cease fire. He still must be removed from office, either by impeachment or through the 25th amendment, as fast as possible. Today he set a deadline by which he intended to destroy Iranian civilization, and the world held its breath. Across this country, people with disparate political views were united in their fear that our country would commit not just war crimes but acts of genocide. That is an unconscionable, unforgivable, terrifying threat.

The Secretary of Defense, who appears to have been firing senior military officials who remain committed to their oath to the Constitution and to compliance with the Geneva Conventions, must also go. We cannot leave power in the hands of those who are willing to commit, and to order our service members to commit, crimes against humanity. We owe it to our military, our country and the world to remove power from those who have threatened to use it to commit atrocities.

Keep calling your members of Congress. They must act now.
